Are salvage materials worth anything?
I know it says you can turn them into crafting material but I can't figure out how, if you can how do you do it? ps- sorry if this question has been answered before Last edited by AflacAoF; May 03, 2005 at 05:44 PM // 17:44.. |

Buy a Salvage kit! Use it on the salvage items, extra weapons, and stuff you aren't going to use. They all give useful crafting materials. If there are certain ones you know you aren't going to use they can be sold to merchants/other players.

Also keep in mind that if you plan on playing a another char with a different profession you might want to keep as much of your crat supplies for them. I am currently running a monk/ele but plan on also running a warrior/?? soon. I am saving all my iron/granite becuse I am assuming he will be needing it.
The way the vault system works is that it is shared with all your chars on your acct. So once I get her into post searing she can pay 50 gold to access the vault and will have a decent jump on craft supplies for her new armor/weapons. Also--in post searing there is craft vendor that will convert craft items to a different one--for example my monk needed parchment to make a new scalp design--but I have yet to see parchment come in a drop or salvaged (keep inmind I am only level 8). the vendor in the desert area took my wooden planks(i think) and some gold and turned it into parchment. |
